• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

is bumping your own thread allowed?

Or is it frowned upon? I've seen questions get asked here on a busy day and they get buried 4 pages down in a couple hours. This means most people will never see it unless they dig through every forum.

I don't know if this is offtopic or not but anyway over at "GAIAonline" thay have Bump topics lol thats all there is in them bumping.

Generally no, unless it is relevant to a post or item that would clarify or add to something else. Bumping a very old thread will get it locked unless there is a very good reason to bring it back from the dead. Bumping in the FS/Trade forum is limited to 1 bump every six hours.

That is one of the reasons it is frowned upon here ;)

Yeah, I remember some idiot who started a 'Spam thread' one day to specifically get his post count up. I don't believe he is still around.

I remember that...and if I remeber correctly he got banned after he started it, along with a bunch of other people who also spamed his spam thread.

if you want spam threads, go to genmay.com

Otherwise, try to keep bumping within reason. If its in FS/FT, bumps are limited to 6 hours apart, but not to excess.
