Is anyone excited about the 40GB Kingston SSD

How about TRIM support for these drives? Intel has brought TRIM back via a recent firmware update which should mean that this drive will get it too, considering that it is practically just a re-badged Intel X25-X. But according to Kingston reps, this is a no no:

Kingston's Solid State Drives do not support any firmware for TRIM commands.

Without TRIM, the already meager write performance will take more beating as the drive is used. Perhaps one should wait for the X25-X (price?) since that will likely have full support.
