Just bought a pc off craigslist for $150, but it has a crappy HUSH580W psu tgat doesn't have a 6-pin connector and a very weak 12v+ rating. I found an ultra LSP550 for $20 locally.

Is that enough to power say a gtx 280 or gtx 460?

Heres tge rest of the rig i scored for $150

Asus P5N-E sli mobo
Q6600
500gb sata hitachi drive
4gb xms ddr2 ram
2 8600gt's(replacing them!)
Windows vista 32bit(ugh oh well)
Wireless G card

I plan on ocing the q6600

If that psu is already sold, what are some good budget oriented psu's that can run the power hungry gtx series?

The LSP550 is poor.. only 360W 12v output and it's made by one of the countless Chinese offenders called ShenZhen RuiSheng Yua ;)

Any decent 400W unit will run that system with a GTX 460 without an issue.. CX430 if you want to go cheap, or XFX Core 450W if you're willing to pay around 40/45$, which also comes with two PCIe connectors so you won't need to use an adapter..
