Instead of it being 50 points to zap a torrent it can now cost up to 1k points. IIRC it hits the 1k point cap at 10GB so its very expensive to use points to zap hit and run torrents now.

They changed hit and run system a little bit though, if you seed a torrent for 14 days no matter the upload it won't be counted as a hit and run.
 
11.5TB buffer w/ 90k points. Who gives a damn :D

Sorry, but if you need points to stay alive on IPT, you are doing something wrong. IPT offers plenty of freeleach movies and show packs that will upload a ton over the long run. IPT is a super easy site.

Lol, right? I will attempt to translate it to what I assume he meant:

If you do not keep at least a 1:1 ratio, IPT will ban the next person that invites you. To maintain a good standing, download and seed popular FreeLeech torrents that don't count against your ratio but give you upload credit.
 
Ahk I thought for a second IPT has started banning people throwing invites to strangers on forums, which is what happens when you do it with revtt invites.
 
I've been using IPT a lot less since they changed their bonus point algo. It used to be use upload credit to get rid of something you haven't seeded enough or zap it with 50 bonus points. It was almost always more worth it to zap it with bonus points if you had even a halfway decent ratio. Now the zapping is equivalent to the MB downloaded? Pretty dumb.

Any members have an invite you could throw my way? I've had an account there before with nearly 10:1 ratio. Then I moved a few years back and it was a few months before i had my network and systems setup to get back to seeding. Lost my account.

I need an invite, I didnt realize my account was at the 90 day inactive limit. Lost about 20gig of buffer.

I don't understand how you people are getting yourselves banned. Are you arguing with people or something?

IMHO, just ignore that you can communicate with people on these sites, press the "thank" button for good torrents and seed, and no one ever has any problems.

Safe in what way?

I use it primarily for video content I can't find in other places. I prefer to buy stuff legally, but sometimes it just isn't available.

There is a limit to how much you can get virii'd when all you do is grab MKV's. I'd be more careful with games/software. You could scan everything you gtrab, but I'd still be a bit uncomfortable with that.

As for the MPAA monitoring IP addresses, these days I use an anonymous VPN, but I didn't for years, and never even once got a notice from my ISP.

I'm kind of confused as to why they haven't gone after IPTorrents. It would be excruciatingly easy for them to create a sham account here or a similar site, post for a while to get some history, request an invite in this thread, and then go on IPTorrents and start downloading and screencapping IP addresses.

I fully expect this to happen at some point, which is why I use a VPN. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't yet. Maybe the MPAA has lost its touch?
 
Yeah, well, one time at band camp, AKA my apartment, I forgot that Utorrent minimized itself. I got in a lot of trouble. Some porn was involved.

I actually wonder this to lol. I love IPT, great speeds (constalntly maxes out my 150and qualities and so far no virus crap from anything but like you I dont fully trust them not to start sniffing around. I managed to break into the 10:1 ration this month and closing in on 11:1 now leaving me with just a little under a 10tb buffer lol, I love being able to just download anything without worrying about my ratio anymore., ipt has become my main source of TV shows I like since I cut cable.
 
Since I received my invite here long ago 11/02/2013 to be exact I figured it is only fair I give some invites away here as well.

If anyone that can keep a good ratio wants an invite I have 0.

I have 2 TorrentDay's to trade. I'd like an IPT (even though they are similar to TD) and somethign else, I'd like the largest private tracker if possible as I'm writing a seedbox program and I need access to how they run their trackers so I need to get inside. I don't even know what other private trackers there are out there! PM me, as I think public messaging is lame (for spreading stuff like this..)
