Iptorrent Invites

PTP is highly over rated IMO. I have 5 Waffles and 3 IPT - would be interested in BCG, BTN or a similar tracker.

Personally I don't give a shit what they are doing as I've never donated anything to them besides some seeding and that seeding has granted me some nice torrents that I couldn't find else where.

That and once again, PTP is over-rated. BTN however, I do love!

I have Waffles or IPT and BTN :D
 
I've found it impossible to seed an appreciable amount for any torrent on IPT unless it's new and super popular.

I have that problem too but if you can abuse the Freeleech torrents to build up a ratio for the non Freeleech torrents you might want. Seed for at least 2 weeks for each torrent (you won't get a HnR for seeding at least 2 weeks). Trade in accumulated bonus points towards upload credit. Repeat...

I've used that tactic since I joined and never get in trouble since it follows the rules. I've left things up for months and most things never fully seed. They know you can't do that for everything so that's why there's ways around it. I almost always just stick to the Freeleech torrents. I only get the non Freeleech torrents unless it's the only place I can find it.

Im on a home cable connection and seed old torrents forever with great results.... Breaking Bad series is like 66gb and Ive seeded about 500gb on that.
 
My ratio on ipt is like 17:1 and that's only because of new shows coming out recently that I've downloaded a lot. A few weeks ago it was over 20:1. I haven't been a member for a year yet, but I have over 2.8TB upload and 160GB downloaded. I usually only download freeleech, but I still seed it forever. I have over 9k points.

That's how all torrent sites are... Seedboxes gain priority on older torrents. Download new torrents that are just put up and will be popular, like a new episode of south park. My ratio is very high on IPT because I download newly released and popular content. My ratio is very bad on other sites because I only download old content.

Me downloading torrents from their website is not exactly supporting them or their cause. I don't donate, I don't contribute in any meaningful way other than seeding other torrents that are already very well seeded. I'm not helping fund anything by using their site. And neither are the other 95% of users that use their site. I don't see ads on iptorrents, they make money off donations and donations alone.

This is a joke right? If you are using their site you are supporting them. If all of the people that "didn't support them" suddenly disappeared the place would be a ghost town, except maybe all the peers they've stolen off of other sites who have no idea but I think that has been resolved. Would you be a apart of a site that had no seeds and very slow speeds or would you look elsewhere? Its more a case of "I'm one person and if I leave it will make no difference so I wont do anything about it."

In the same post you are offering invites and helping to grow the community. If one person you have invited has ever donated then you helped support the site by letting them in. Hell like I said before, just having the massive user base keeps the site going.
 
Anyone have a BTN invite to share with me? I have a 5:1 ratio on IPT and have given quite a few invtes out as well.

The reddit tracker threads are full of unsubstantiated claims and name calling pissing contests.

Highly doubt IPT staff is behind that, but then again who knows? Wouldn't be surprised if the conflict with Dan39 and his buddies over the recent change in management of the iptorrents IRC channel had something to do with the the accusations that IPT was behind this.

One thing this whole pit of drama has revealed to me though is, that people thake this scene torrent shit WAY too fucking seriously.

As far as I am concerned, I don't give a shit. I go where I find what I am looking for and speed is good. The end.

Focus on downloading only Freeleech stuff up front. Newer stuff if you want to build ratio fast., then once you have a decent ratio, forget about it and just get whatever you want.

Do what I do. Leave everything open seeding permanently. Never shut it down. Eventually someone is going to grab it.

It has nothing to do with the scene. Its the fact that the owner is one of the biggest pieces of shit on the internet. I wont post the link due to possibly breaking the rule about posting others information but google "iptorrents dox" and click on the first link that comes up.

It was him ddosing the servers a day ago, it was him ddosing the servers in the beginning of the year as well. It was him stealing peers off of other trackers and adding them to his own site. These aren't accusations, they are known facts. Just because you don't choose to believe them doesn't make it untrue.
 
Crap. I need to get another source then. Any invites would be appreciated and/or paid back.

Firstly, you might ask, "Don't you know about their interview invite method?"
- I do know about it, and I am willing to take the test. But unfortunately for me, India is banned from their IRC.
Secondly, as I've heard that it is very strict in What, I promise you that I won't bring myself, the one who provides me the invite or anyone related to me any trouble. I will gladly share what I download and keep my ratio up.
You might ask, "How to trust an unknown person and risk our membership?"
- I can't force you to give out any invite, I won't. But one thing I can tell is I WON'T be unfaithful to the community.
