This is kind of weird but after moving to my iphone 7 today and then updating to ios10.0.1 (from ios10) the keyboard click sounds which I was kind of liking on ios10 are now locked to the ringer volume - not the music volume - and so faint you can't hear them unless you turn the ringer up to full blast. I have found no way to raise the kb click volume by itself. Has anyone else notice this? Is this some kind of bug or new feature?? Is there a way to turn the kb clicks up independently?
when I am receiving a text and the sound is playing my kb sounds go back to normal for one second then are pretty much muted again. Seems like a bug.
edit: my temp solution is to use a ring and some notifications with a quieter level so I can keep my ringer at about 1/2 up without getting blasted when a call or text comes in. Even so the KB sounds are faint.
