iPhone 3g bricked

Well my iphone kept resetting last night so i woke up this morning and restored it to the 3.1.3 firmware. Well for the past 10 hours ive been trying to fix it and ive given up.Everytime i plug it into itunes it gives me a error saying Iphone cannot be restored (2).

Im thinking about bringing it to the apple store tomorrow but i got the phone a week after it came out so i doubt they will be of much help.

Got the 4.0 beta before I knew anything about how to use it, foolishly installed it, and couldn't, after countless tries, get 3.1.3 before using the link. Btw I didn't have the exact error as the thread indicates a fix for, but it worked in the end.

Went to the apple store, they said the flash memory was blocked/broke. So i went back paid 200 for a newphone and got a 15 inch macbook pro

yeah i was impressed when i found there was no scratches on it. I figured it should hold me over just fine till the 4g
