ipcop addons?

so i got my ipcop box up :) wasnt much trouble at all. more trouble figuring out which interfaces were red/greeen/blue seeing as how i used 3 nics all with the same realtek chipset :)

its all up n good now tho and im quite enjoying it. but i was wondering what are some addons you guys typically use for it?
 
Advnaced Proxy, URL Filter, CopFilter... Or, you could use Endian instead and not worry about getting copfilter to work witn Advanced Proxy.

i tried googling but i come up with many variations on the results...

id like some concrete links on this...paranoia runs high on my network ;)

can you provide a link? i seem to find several QoS addons....which one is the 'advanced' one

CopFilter doesn't like to play nicely with Advanced Proxy and URL Filter.

can i use copfilter and the built in proxy fine together?
 
Copfilter....IMO running those transparent proxies that filter AV, spam, malware, is the primary reason of running one of these linux routers....actually the only reason for me. Hence why I moved onto Endian.
 
any reason i cant install these addons? when i do the ./install to install addons i always get

-bash: ./addoncfg: Permission denied

-bash: ./install: Permission denied



im logged in as root...how can it deny permission....is there somewhere in ipcop im missing something?

got it...buddy had me chmod 777 install

works like a charm now...
