Ipad air vs desktop monitor

What kind of ips panel does the ipad air have? I see no glow even at the most extreme angles at a diagonal on a black screen, whereas the PLS on my galaxy tab 2 has awful glow and whenever i try to watch movies with two people the glow washes out part of the image. What is the comparable thing to the ipad air, or better?

Edit: i might as well ask about the PLS displays on tablets. Are they different than the PLS on monitors? I really like the tab 12.2 and other tabs, even the tab 2 i said had high glow.

The Eizo 27"er supposedly doesn't have any glow. I believe some higher end Eizos don't have the glow either, but they are really expensive.
Guess they are using that ATW polarizer or similar tech.

Other than that, you'd be looking at VAs if you don't want glow. Or at least that is all I know of.

The iPad Air hardly suffers any IPS glow and neither did the iPad 4 in my experience.

The ipad 2 had a little bit, but the 3,4, And air i think all have the same display so no glow.
