• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Ok, so I have two internet connections. One Comcast, the other VZ DSL. DSL I can access the forums fine, but if I go to access the forums via my Comcast account, the server refuses connection.

Whom shall I send my IP to see if my comcast IP has been banned and why?

do you use www.hardforum.com or do you just ust hardforum.com?

I have this problem at school for some reason. It refuses the connection without the www.

Both. Same results with my Comcast account.

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Error Code 10061: Connection refused
Background: When the gateway or proxy server contacted the upstream (Web) server, the connection was refused. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the upstream server.

Well I'm at my office and just tried hardforum.com and hardforums.com and got through fine. Then I vpn'd home and connected via Comcast. I was able to access both in IE and FF. Perhaps it's an odd localized issue. Hope you figure it out.

Maybe someone at Comcast in your area is an ATOT fan... :p
Or has a relative with the "Phantom Console" company
