IP addy ranges

Its been away since I studied these but does anyone remember what type of network coordinates with the address ranges.

I've been getting ping flooded from ip address all starting in 12 half from a mchsi address and the other half from insightBB I was thinking an addy starting in 12 was internal which might lead me ot believe its a trojan of some sort causing me to ping flood myself. Its pretty much non stop.

The RFC1918 address ranges are:

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (10/8 prefix)
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (172.16/12 prefix)

thanks a bunch I'll email the abuse address and see if I can't get any type of response, they are showing up as mchsi and insightbb addresses and all of them are in the 12.215-220 range.
