I just put together a new computer and decided to install windows 7 on it. Along with the new OS comes IE 8. In most respects its a nice improvement over IE 7. I don't use IE much at all but not every site runs well (or at all) with firefox, so I do use IE on occasion.
One feature that is bugging the crap out of me (I'm a bit picky) is that in IE 8 the URL bar will display some of my favorites (picked at random?). I try to keep that bar slim anyway so I can easily pick between items and having a bunch more urls show up is really annoying. Plus there doesn't appear to be a way to stop it. Has anyone found a way to keep the favorites out of the URL drop-down?
