Just wanted to drop some love toward this little guy. The Intel NUC NUC717BNH is amazing for more than just one reason but I want to highlight, Thunderbolt 3.
I've got 3 of these all connected via 40Gbps cables (dell dock as a middle connector + akitio node) with a LSI RAID card with 2x 512GB SSD + 6x8TB drives in an external storage encloser (Sans digital).
I'm able to get DAS speeds via the thunderbolt and yet its shared (from one NUC) and then to my network via 1Gbps.
Video editing is now a lot smoother! Thanks Intel NUC! MVP
