Yes, install them. At the very least it won't hurt anything, and it will likely help.

Yes; install the drivers.

Not having the drivers installed could cause problems for you, such as bluray playback (in certain scenarios).
 
I always install them at work even though we don't use AMT.

Speaking of uninstalled devices, does anyone remember what the official name for the yellow exclamation point in device manager is?
 
Well here's quite a thread necro.

For future reference, I would say you don't need those drivers. They're strictly for using AMT. A consumer has no reason to be concerned with AMT.
