Isn't this the same fake leak from months ago?

besides i'd rather have a 12 or 16 core ryzen anyway... especially at such a reduced TDP!!! hell a 9900k @ 5 GHz is supposedly pulling 220-250w so.... guess it's not a bad proc if you live up north?

The 10900KF is to the 10900X as the 7700K was to the 7740X.

In other words BEST CASE scenario, the 10900KF will have an all core turbo of 4.5ghz and a single core max of 4.7ghz.

The 10900kf screen says 4.6G all core. Close enough or same difference I guess.

Maybe, but a 500 mhz higher single core freq seems unlikely.
KF are cherry picked K

edit: so just elaborate. +500mhz could happen. KF Supply will be limited, cherry picking only gets u so far.

I find it rather impossible for these 14nm highest tier parts with 10C/20T at those clock speeds to be only 95-105W TDP.

Remember, with Intel, TDP is base speed. Go look at those base clocks again. The i7 8700 non K will pull 65W...at 3.1GHz or whatever it's base is. You want to hit the turbo speeds, you use a lot more power.

Having said that, yeah, this is the same fake from a few months ago. American companies don't put the $ after prices, for one thing.

I realize that. TDP is designed (read: targeted) power draw. Momentary bursts can and will draw a lot more, but the CPU is inherently designed to keep itself in check and throttle back as necessary, or all OEM builders would need to be using 500W+ PSUs in their base models instead of the cheap 200-350W tin box PSUs commonly utilized.
