Definitely a E8400.

I'm running a Xeon E3110 (same thing) and this thing smokes. Stock voltage is 1.13 or something ridiculously low. Run nice and cool @ 3.8ghz

for 80 bucks you could get some other nice stuff, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd... but the e8400 is awesome :)

I had bad luck w/ the E8400's. my X3110 overclocked way better and used way less voltage. I say go Xeon!

Yea, the Xeon E3110 is hitting 4GHz Prime95 stable with .1 volt less then the E8400 pretty consistently. Whoever said they weren't binned higher was lying.

For those near a Fry's the B&M's have the retail version of this chip along with some baseline ~$70 ECS board for ~220 thru thurs.
