    I asked a sales person at Tustin store to look for and SLBEJ. They have 130+ in stock at that time, and they all are SLBCH.

    Damn.....you got me all excited. I think we need to start looking at Frys. They've got a lot of i7s too....plus they pricematch MC if there is a nearby one.

    I talked to a guy at my local MC. He said they always loose money on processors and laptops, which is why their prices are so low, but that attracts people to buy other things and they still come up on top. I think that's pretty smart, they have drained a couple hundred bucks from me lol :D

    CA sales tax is only 8.25%

    you live in a part of California that charges an extra 1.25% because they suck so much

    that's weird cuz i tried to PM to Microcenter at Fry's.. and they said it was one of the few stores they DON'T pricematch to.

    You'd be surprised they get asked that question all the time at the Tustin Store so they got the whole dept keeping tabs on the stepping. They sort them out as they get them in. 1 more reason why I love MC better than Frys..no clueless clerk just grabbing a random cpu out of a cage for you to check each one.
