Guys,

Loaded everything like normal.

But the boot drive is H. Never asked for what letter to use. Why would it default to H?

I did set up a Raid 1. So it there a step I missed when setting this up?

Remove and card readers/USB drives prior to installing windows.

You won't easily be able to change the drive letter w/o reinstalling.

did you add a harddrive to another system with windows already on it?

It did ask you, you just didn't pay attention on the drive formatting screen. Anytime this happens, everyone tries to blame XP. You had other drives and partitions that it put before your array....probably IDE drives. Your best bet is to install XP with only the RAID drives connected...disconnect the rest until XP is installed. The only way to change it back to C is to re-install.

You don't get all the way to "h:" with IDE devices. Not likely anyways... ;)

It's a card reader. If I was a betting man, I'd lay $$ on it.
