Okay since no one has seemed to post it. If you visit google and search "Windows 10 media creation tool" on a windows based PC you get this page! http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO I assume, BUT if you visit the page on Linux you get that same page but you can choose to download the iso directly instead of having to use the tool to download it. It is faster and easier to do this. I recommend doing it instead. Below is the link I get when I say what I want to download and click x64.

Well that's nice to have the direct ISO link but, as I just noted in another thread (several of them so far today) the Media Creation Tool is not downloading ISOs - it's downloading ESD files (Electronic Software Distribution) which are encrypted containers that a) get decrypted by that tool and b) converted to ISO format or c) can be used to do the upgrade directly once they're downloaded.

The ISO link is useful, sure, but a lot of users - a lot more than you might realize - don't have a clue what an ISO file is or what to do with it even if they have one hence the Media Creation Tool's purpose for existing.

I suppose in the long run it doesn't matter but, having the info about what that tool is doing helps sometimes.

EDIT: I found out this is for both Home and Pro. Links seem to be different for each person and are only good for 24 hours.

FYI, here are the MD5's for these isos if anyone cares.

English 64-bit 5E7A97CBC45E9A2745379D315F8D4D8E

English 32-bit 99FEB0F9E7262B7EEFA460840A31B59D

What is interesting is the media creation tool 64-bit iso is smaller than the direct link.
