Indie Dev Accused of Exchanging Positive Press for Sex

Didn't he say, she was on about that for him as well?

See, that's where it's stupid. It shuoldn't be a "safe" bet. Esp nowadays, when there are just about as many women doing these things. But because of "age old customs" it's somehow fine to think the guy is bad, but not the girl. It's ironic, that women are trying to get equal rights, but none of the responsibilities and many "white knights" are the same.

Please, don't feed it.

Isn't getting positive press for sex what we should all be aiming for?

"Great job! Will go again!"
"Never experienced anything like it, truly mind blowing!"
"Best way to wake up in the morning, 10/10!"

Which goes to my question, is this criminal conduct? If we were talking about quid pro quos in the government and even the private sector where things like promotions and contracts were given in exchange for sex, that's clearly criminal.

I don't know about criminality as I'm not well versed in laws governing human sexual behavior outside of rape, incest, and bestiality. For me, the point is that it's entirely unethical and simply reaffirms my long standing suspicions over game review sites and publications.

Age old customs like this aren't really customs at all. They might come across like that, but at the end of the day, they're only labeled as such so someone can avoid having to own up to admitting that people are confined to being what they're unable to control or change. It's perfectly natural to get defensive about human nature and to pretend like there are some sorts of extenuating circumstances or reasoning that can excuse it away, but like it or not, it can't be denied and this isn't an exceptional case at all.
