If men weren't so easily bought and influenced by it, stuff like this wouldn't happen. The problem isn't Zoe (which still isn't proven yet since this is coming from a jealous ex-boyfriend...another reason to stay uninvolved and ignore anything with a penis...but I digress). The problem is a bunch of stupid, ball sack, hormone-infused moron little boys in adult bodies that are willing to compromise themselves and their integrity at every turn just to put their revolting gonads into something else.

No, I'm not doing it wrong. Things that use batteries are just better and you don't have to wonder if you're going to get a phone call the next day or not.

Anyhow, the fact that there isn't any integrity in video game journalism isn't really a huge surprise. It's been happening since like forever ago and it doesn't really matter at all because at worst, someone wastes a few hours of their time and a small amount of money on a game they don't like. They'd waste their money and time on something else anywho so what matters here isn't the journalism, but the obvious fundamental problem and weakness of men in more general terms. That's not a bait thing, it's reality and the sooner guys work out overcoming what they are, the better off they'll be and the easier it'll be to work with them.

I also like your conceit that lack of integrity in journalism in this situation is OK, because lack of integrity is common. Sorry, you only find it OK because of your bias. The staple of journalism IS integrity. The staple of SJW movements IS integrity.
 
Also, UncleGeorge. SJW is a MOVEMENT in gaming as is the editorialists/journalists that cover and bring such forward thinking parties to light. Except, when something like this happens, and then you want to play the card that 'it's just games' which completely undermines the SJW message you are trying to defend.

Just make prostitution legal already. I don't think it's right, but not everything that is wrong should be illegal, so long as both parties agree, who cares? The bigger issue to me is being paid (in whatever form) for fake press.

Men are sex-focused. If it isn't about having something, it's about making sure that the something they can't or won't have is sufficiently discounted so it's okay for it to be unreachable. As for presenting evidence...it's pretty easy to just, I dunno, read a few things...

I sort of get where you're going with this. Yes, journalism should be a pillar of integrity, but it's not and some of the least significant journalism is about video games. In the big picture view of the world where stuff is going explode-y and people are getting hurt, whether or not a video game has an honest or tainted review is pretty unimportant.

Well who cares about considering the presentation of sex in video games and the social impact it may have, or the social culture it may reflect? They're just games. You're right, this entire SJW thing is even dumber than the pointless sham it pretends to be. In the big picture, where stuff is going explode-y and people are getting hurt, it is pretty unimportant. That will never happen, the whole system of public subversion falls apart. Its predicated on the idea women are easy to manipulate with perceived social pressure. And Men will go along with women in order to get some, even make themselves believe they agree in some cases.

There's quite a few guys who if they could access whores (even as backup) and not rely on their actual or would be sex partner would have sudden change of mind on many issues.

Grayson may have thought he was getting out from under a burning a bridge...but it would appear he simply dragged it from RPS to Kotaku. I mean, Kotaku isn't really blameless in creating this environment...but this particular scandal traces back to RPS and not Kotaku.
 
RPS certainly took the SJW journalism reigns long ago. It's unfortunate, because I really like their writing style.

These individuals are connected through RPS, not Kotaku. Why did Grayson leave RPS suddenly to 'try something new' to only do exactly the same thing immediately at Kotaku RIGHT before this hit? The only reason I can see for this is avoiding another scandal. Grayson -> ? -> Quinn. Ellison. This will get uglier before it gets better, and it will actually set this discourse back a couple decades. Really think WHY RPS is being left out of this discussion, when it is so obviously PART of this situation.
 
I also like the explanation that, "When this hit, Grayson no longer worked at RPS, he worked at Kotaku." So history didn't exist before this information came to light? He worked at RPS when all this went down. I don't understand the relevance of where he works now (since less than a month ago), to where he worked WHEN everything happened. This is ONE tiny little thing too. We wouldn't know any of this, if a jilted moron didn't try and scum his girlfriend, thereby accidentally setting into a chain of events far above the fact that his maybe/maybe not girlfriend was sleeping around. Grayson's move is calculated. RPS avoidance in reporting is calculated. So what is worth hiding over at RPS, that is worse than this scandal?

People get pissed off, though, when social justice warriors come into threads like this and whine about how unfair it is that promiscuous women aren't held in high regard in human society. She's riding your predictable responses like a wave and looking down on you with contempt.

Then there's the entirely separate, ethical issue of her prostituting herself to get false positive press about her game. It's ethically equivalent to paying the reviewer, in my opinion. The sex is inconsequential to the issue at hand--it further reduces her sexual market value, but it doesn't make her actions more wrong. What matters is her lies, manipulations, and corruption.

There's nothing proven. It's just some upset ex yelling and screaming for attention from his "bros" about some likely made up story about how he was so wronged so there's really no problem at all.

Okay, to cover both of your replies, I think it's pretty obvious. Men are much more interested in sex and pretty much everything that motivates them revolves around getting it or proving themselves superior to other men because they think it makes them more likely to be selected (as demonstrated by how badly they drive and how much they compete, even when going somewhere on a road or whatever). Also, most sex related crimes have male perps. So it's pretty clear that when it comes to anything having to do with intercourse, it's a safe bet to assign guilt and blame completely on the male side of the gender fence. I mean seriously, on that side it's utterly crude and disgusting from conversations to pursuit of goals. Yuck...and all those crusty tube socks too. :(

Both are. Sex and it's use to get people's way is as old as time. What is most striking to me here though is how some dude dated this girl for all of 2 weeks, felt he owned her and they were monogamous omg in love for life, and goes on some massive Tumblr rant after the fact.

I did read he lives in the Tenderloin, he clearly needs to get some cheap tail and relax a bit. Protip: Wrap it up , and double check the hardware of those "girls" in the TL. :eek: ;)

See, that's where it's stupid. It shuoldn't be a "safe" bet. Esp nowadays, when there are just about as many women doing these things. But because of "age old customs" it's somehow fine to think the guy is bad, but not the girl. It's ironic, that women are trying to get equal rights, but none of the responsibilities and many "white knights" are the same.
