Incoming spam much heavier this week

Just curious to know if anyone else has noticed incoming spam increased a lot this week.
Starting this past Monday the amount of spam being sent to our domain has pretty much doubled. Filter is working well, but curious to know if anyone else has noticed this.

Somewhat related, we've been seeing many virus removals come in. I've alone done 6 total in the last 2 days. 2 of them having email flooders on them. Appears that the infections are up this week too. At least up here.

I'm ranging between 8 to 10 k a day right now, which is pretty normal for the domains going through my spam filter

I haven't seem much increase either, but then again just got back and didn't think much about work while on vacation
