CNN is reporting the source code for this new image exploit has been released to the public. There could be some very nasty things developed very quickly that could cause our community here to unknowingly become infected. I suggest shutting images off until this is fixed.
 
Havent had much time to look more into that whole thing myself.... anyone have a link to a good explaination?

In any case, I feel this is a good idea.
 
is this the deal that virus' can get you through jpeg images? if so, it's been done before. a couple months ago, for any of you that use aim, there was a virus going around that an IM comes from one of your friends sn saying here is a pic of me, click here and if you clicked there it would show a jpeg or jpg image and you get a virus and then it will hijack your buddy list, sending the same thing to everyone on your buddy list. pretty freaky.
