IMAP Client

Outlook? Outlook Express? Netscape's solution? Thunderbird?

I'm sure a "imap client" on google will present you with hundreds...and that's just programs...then there are webmail solutions....

I am tired of the bad interface on Squirrelmail. Any alternatives?

I've always found SquirrelMail to be the best web-based email client. I customize a lot of things though, everything from adding mods like html compose, spellcheck, calendar, etc and completely customizing the look (with templates) and adding my own custom bookmark-like menubar on the left. What don't you like about it? Is the standard installation too boring?

Anyway. The only two alternatives (speaking web based here) I have tried are Roundcube and Horde IMP. Roundcube is nice (and pretty, go AJAX), but last time I messed with it things seemed a little to 'new' and broken, and security was an issue. Horde IMP is incredibly stable, but makes the Squirrel interface look modern.

This is assuming you arn't talking about any email client that can do IMAP... if that's the case, use Thunderbird ;)
