ImageShack Testing Free BitTorrent Download Service

Popular free image host ImageShack is looking to expand their footprint and is currently beta-testing a new torrent download service. Go to their site and check it out, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Services like this are not new, but up until now I haven’t seen one that doesn’t charge money. There are some limitations though. Per month you can download a maximum of 15GB to your computer, and the storage on ImageShack’s servers is also limited to 15GB.

I assume it would only work with public, accountless trackers, or else you'd somehow have to sign up for an account using imageshack's IP address.

most private trackers just give you a key to use...sure they log IPs but....

private trackers will probably block their ip range or something....

Yikes, after some quick research if appears that private trackers don't work like I thought they worked. I always assumed it was just be IP...

I assume this will just be for image uploads, or it is slated to include other media as well?
