im sorry - another "will hl2 run on my computer" thread

athlon xp 1900+
leadtek geforce 4 ti4400 (o/c to 290/600)
768 mb pc2700 ram

im not expecting to run at full eye candy (and frankly, i prefer smoother framerates to maxed-out eye candy, though someday ill be able to max the eye candy out as well), but will this system give me at least decently playable framerates? im looking to upgrade anyway, but when youre a full time college student working an $8/hour job for about 20 hours a week and half of that money goes toward car payments, upgrades go by pretty slowly

With graphics settings all the way down, you should be able to play the game on what's listed on the minimum requirements for the game.

So if your machine is at least that good, you have nothing to worry about.

supposedly its near their "recommended" requirements of around 2ghz (even though a 1900+ ~1.6 actual ghz) and a geforce 4

what i mainly want to know is what kind of performance i can expect with that rig, possibly from people who have a rig close to mine
