People think CD Keys is a scam. You just have to pay attention to what region the key you're getting is from. As far as I know they resell legitimate keys obtained from the publishers. Thanks for the responses. So the people saying cdkeys is a scam are just bsing? It's totally safe to use your cc and the games will work 100%forever over steam? Just wondering before I grab few games
Is CD keys or green man gaming safe and legit? I noticed bloodstained is 31 on gmg and re2 remake is only 31 vs 59 on steam?
Overall, decent game, but I prefer Curse of the Moon more than this. First, I guess I'm more of a purest when it comes to Castlevania games. I just found the grinding to take away from my enjoyment over the game. Level grinding, monster grinding for drops, grinding for shards, grinding to level up shards. Grinding the alchemist. Grinding the food. Etc. Yes, you don't have to do it, but it's encouraged.
This is pretty similar to SOTN era games. Like, you don't have to grind for the Card drops in COTM, but it's encouraged. I haven't exactly "grinded" yet. I'm about 6 hours in and LV 25 with just going about the map. Like you said, you can if you want...but you definitely don't have to. It's just things to do and carrots that are dangled.
Was waiting to get this on the Switch, but I heard the port is really bad right now. Shame.
Yeah I'm quite sad, I even bought a D-pad joycon specifically for this game, but on Switch it's just painful. Honestly, I used a remote play tool on the switch to stream the game over from my PC, which flows in at 60fps and that's miles better than the switch version overall.
Kind of silly, but it worked for when I want to play on the couch and don't want to set up my laptop table.
It'll get there, but I'll probably have finished it on PC beforehand.
Someone said that they felt like they knew the switch version was in crap shape, delayed it a week to hide it during initial reviews, then released it, played dumb about the problems, and are now promising to fix it.
Shady? Probably.
Unexpected in this day and age? Not really.
I don't think that's the case. I think it's just a matter of trying to meet deadlines, regardless of quality. They're a small dev. They can't really afford to delay. So, the sales would help dictate the level of support they can further develop it for. I know it sucks, but I kinda get it. At this point, I don't think they'll abandon the game on the switch. Honestly, outside of boardgames, this is probably the best kickstarter I back. Granted, Cosmic Star Heroine was incredibly well ran. So, perhaps, this is second best.
Why wouqld anyone buy this for the switch to begin with? With it locked at 30 fps is lame. I hooked up my PC to my 4k tv with it accidently being set to 30hz made it unplayable. I just don't understand how people can play/want these games on a switch.
I'm already playing it on the PC on a 65" TV. However, I really like this TYPE of game on the Switch, when I'm just laying around, or if my wife is watching something on TV maybe. I didn't realize they limited it to 30hz though. Things like Sundered, Dead Cells, etc. all run at 60 on the Switch, so they translate just fine.
Not sure how I missed that about Ritual, but I'll be holding off until it's running full speed. If it doesn't, I'll play it just on the PC instead. Not a huge deal, but I like to have copies of as many of my favorite games on the Switch as possible, because I'm not always in front of the TV, or at my desk.

Agreed with J3RK that this is exactly the type of game I want to play on the switch. My other wish for a switch port (done right of course) is Ori and the Blind Forest. I do agree that ROTN plays so much better at high framerate though. Doing 144hz on it is buttery smooth and I love it. Wish the switch could at least do 60.
I just don't see how people could enjoy playing anything on such a small screen on top of all the other negatives.
If you can’t understand the exact reasons already spelled in the posts you quoted then you aren’t going to understand period.I just don't see how people could enjoy playing anything on such a small screen on top of all the other negatives.
I started playing this recently, since it got added to the Xbox for PC game pass thing.
It's...okay. It already feels somewhat tedious and I'm not even that far in. It feels like there is a ton of backtracking (I know it's a Metroidvania, but still) and you don't move particularly fast. Felt like I spent a lot of time just running through empty regions.
Maybe I just don't have the patience for this type of game these days, I dunno.
You're movement speed picks up as you play. There are skills and things that improve it. Still, I liked the game...I just wasn't the biggest fan of the shard power gains. It felt kinda cryptic at times. As, I didn't realize progression skills were gained through that instead of through bosses and what have you.
Yeah, that's another thing that I'm not too keen on. From my understanding, you obtain shards by on fighting the same enemy types over and over until one randomly drops?
Actually you want to get nine shards to max out the gradeYeah, that's another thing that I'm not too keen on. From my understanding, you obtain shards by on fighting the same enemy types over and over until one randomly drops?
