If Navi matches 3080 in Raster performance but not Ray Tracing... will we care?

Why such a big discrepancy between the two 3DMark benchmarks? Which one is closer to real-world?

No idea since 3dmark has nothing to do with real world performance. In a lot of ways it’s a useless benchmark.

Almost as useless as ray tracing is right now.

It will be interesting to see the benchmarks in RT games. I have heard that NVIDIA kills the Port Royale benchmark but doesn't do as well in a mixed Raster/RT environment. If AMD suffers less of a performance hit in mixed than conceivably be much closer to NVIDIA in ray traced games. Will be interested probably still a week or 3 before real benchmarks
