IE equiv settings in Chrome

I am trying to access some sites that require you to add domains to the zone intranet under IE to use them. The instructions I am following have screenshots for IE and say something along the lines of "similar settings can be found in Firefox and Chrome." I have tried searching myself and then google searching for an answer and I cannot seem to find anything that indicates that Chrome has such a settings screen. Is there and addon I need to install to mimic some of these actions? Below is a screenshot of the options you have to click in order to see the screen I need to adjust in IE.

what is the issue you are having?
is it because the sites are using self-signed SSL certificates?
or signed by some other authority that you do not already have the root cert for?
