I'd recommend staying the hell away from Gigabytes Firmware update on the 980 TI G1

Figured I'd give the updated firmware a bash on my 980 Ti G1 and see what the new fan profiles did.

The @Bios utility (just a front end of NVFlash) straight up roasted my DP bios, so now I'm limited to the DD Bios until I have the time to do an RMA.

Brutal. I have a G1 970 that I bought used, the previous owner modded the bios to fix the stock fan curve not allowing the fans to spin down adequately at idle. I thought about updating to the newest GB bios but am leery of tweaking any BIOS unless there's a specific fix/upgrade I am trying to do.
