I bought a t42 a few weeks ago and ordered 2x 512MB sticks from crucial. There are 2 slots. One under the keyboard and one on the back. Now I'm wondering if I replaced both with stick from crucial does that void the warrenty because I took out the main memory and not just the optional slot? The reason I ask is it was somewhat of a pain to get it in. There is a film of wires that sits right next to the memory slot t and you have to pretty much bend it(the film) to install the memory. I'll try and post some pictures later. Anyone ever run into this problem before and know if I'm voiding my warrenty?
