i7 920 dont fit with DDR3 1333???????
the message i got recently on line , really ??
my CPU: QuadCore Intel Core i7 920, 2800 MHz (21 x 133)
Fan : coolermaster Hyper N520

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R

ram : DDR3 SDRAM
DDR3-1333 (667 MHz) ==> total 3 (6G)
some body told me
i7 920 dont eat ddr 3 1333 only for 1066 or 1600
any OC only up to 21 x 166 or the 1333 ram bill burn down ?????
he suggest me to buy 1600 and OC to 4G ???

another one told me dont bother him
if my CPU OC up to 4G the ram 1333 wiill up to 1600 ?? really

which one is right ????
should i buy new rams 1600 and OC my i7 to 4G or other suggestions?????

sorry my ENg is poor
so....
and my question is
CPU OC or not (such as just 2.66G vs. 3.8g ) will interfere with the performace of ram (just like my ddr3 1333 will work as 1066 only if no OC up to some degree ??? and if i use the ddr 3 1333 only will it burn out when i OC my CPU too higher level )???

I believe he said something along the lines of:
Someone told him that the i7 920 doesn't play well with DDR3 1333, but works better with 1066 or 1600.
The oc will be limited to 21x166 (3.4ghz) by the DDR3 1333, going higher would cause it to run too hot(?)
Same person told him to upgrade to DDR3 1600 and take the cpu to 4ghz.

Someone else told him not to bother and that with an oc to 4ghz his ram could go from 1333 to 1600 (not sure if he meant it will go automatically).

Who is right? Should he buy the DDR3 1600 and oc to 4ghz or what?

Edit: Once again, I am captain slow :p

you should be able to OC pretty high without having to buy 1600mhz

you might not get up to 3.8 though, i have not tested the minimum memory ratio

i got to 3.3ghz with 1333mhz
