Pretty decent deal?

Damn bundle cost the same price as the motherboard I just purchased for my new build! :eek: lol
 
Yeah that is a good price considering that is the mobo they're bundling with it, the question though is will you really notice any difference between that and $100 mobo.

Although I am tempted though, just picked up a 4790K for $249, I'll probably get a mobo in the $80 range (based on sales) then spend $60-70 more on ram (16GB), I would need/want more ram with that system, but a bunch of games too... and it would cost me what another $40 to get another 8GB kit? I mean no way I'm needing that many PCIx16 slots but still very tempting.
 
Also noticed in my email, you could do that same combo with 4690K for $299 which is basically old school days of "buy the processor get a motherboard for free" or in this case buy the motherboard get a high end i5, 8GB of ram and a game for free!

Unless you need HT, I would save my $100 and opt for this here with the 4690K and use the $100 left over towards a GPU or SSD.

go to newegg and type in the search window "supercombo black friday" and at least for me they're listed from lowest price to highest, it's right at the $299 mark
 
wow that made my decision easier to make whether or not to take my unopened 4790K back and go 4690K combo.
 
Man, I could really use either one of these combo's. I got an I7 920 I bought from here a few years back. Anyone know of any other upcoming combo deals like this?
