8.15 @ 4.2GHz
7.56 @ 3.9GHz
~6.9x @ 3.4GHz

...anyone with a Nehalem/Lynnfield want to run it at the same clocks?

Did find some scores posted here to reference to:

Lucky! (in Napoleon's voice) Thanks for posting this
My E8600 @ 4.0 ghz scores a 2.2 :)
So was the 2600K around $300??

I'm Canadian and it was $340 for the 2600K ($320 for non-K) and $200 for the board. Pretty awesome imo.
It seems an i7 975 @ 4GHz scores less than me at 3.9GHz.

The first screenie is from me...I was showing a comparison with someone with a Nehalem.

where in canada are you and what store did you get it from?

im a curious canadian :p

Got 3.36 on my stock Q9550

edit: 3.43 after a fresh restart with less shit running.

I plan on upgrading to SB when it comes out, already got 16 GB of DD3 on the way. Will probably get the 2600K and overclock.

So............sort of off the topic.............

The base clock is 100?
This 2600K model has an unlocked multiplier?

Can you link a reference to the motherboard?

Appreciate it.
Looks like a really fast CPU!

my 920 was running @ 4.2ghz, not 4.01. also this was HT on. with it disabled i scored 5.65, the score directly under my 2nd run

Have fun looking at the Asus line below (I use the Pro):
http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=P8P67

2600K has an unlocked multi (any K is unlocked) and base clock is stuck to 100 with min/max of about 5 or so at most.

Good comparison. So a comparably clocked 2600K is about 15% faster than an i7-920 (8.15 to 7.17).
