I took a picture 2020

Thanks for the skateboarding idea haha, there's a place nearby, I have to ask some kids if I can photograph them.

Here's some more motorsport, along with my poor attempt to catch the Neowise comet and a little friend I made while waiting for the comet to appear behind the clouds.
Too bad uploading here is just like Facebook and Instagram, it compresses the image and a ton of details are lost.

My girlfriend used to weigh well over 300lbs before I met her. Since I've known her she avidly exercises and recently had a tummy tuck to remove all the loose skin. She's extremely proud of herself as she should be...and wanted a month post-op photo. I'm starting to play with my off-camera flash again and experimented.

sonsonate Are you talking about the purplish blue light in the center? It brings the blue and red of the buildings on the left, over to the right side of the pictures. Provides a bit of balance in that way. I think the photo looks really reasonable. Would be nice hung big behind a couch in a man-cave, or down the side of a movie theater room.

you could've selectively warmed it up?

Portra is such a great film, I prefer the 160 over Ektar 100. Very natural colors.
I never got to shoot film... well not really. Only ever had disposables before I got into photography (my Dad has an SLR somewhere - I don't even know what it is). But I've dreamed of shooting on AGFA B&W - like AGFA Scala 200. I also really liked the look of AGFA RSX 50 II (for color). Of course now all the AGFA production facilities and processing facilities are defunct. Terrible shame.
I also agree with you about your assessment about Portra. From what I've seen at least, Portra may have been Kodak's best looking stills photography stock. Definitely a favorite.

Long exposure + short (for highlights) exposure x 3 =
Too bad about the Intrepid museum though. The colors on the aircraft carrier museum kind of kills it for me, but try as I might, I couldn't make it visually appealing in anyway, hahah.
I'm going to go with others and just say it's a great series of shots.
Also as stamsek noted, technically you could change the colorization of the whole thing. You could make it Monochrome (all one color) if you prefer or selective color tone areas. After seeing Vincent Laforet's work "Air" (photographing cities at night from a helicopter, and then later turning it into a book) - it really showed me that any colorization is possible and can look incredible if you take the time. I can't find his blog post but he commented that cities can look like microchips or look interconnected in different ways. And his multi-colorization reflects that.
Even if you don't go through all that trouble, I think the work you presented is excellent.

My new Pentax 67 mark II and FUJI 400H rated at 200.

Nice cameras, I sold mine when the prices went up.
I liked it a lot, but due to it's weight/size I really didnt take it out enough and passed it on to someone who ended up using it a lot more than me.

What lens? I used the 105mm F2.4 with some really nice results. One day maybe I'll scan some negs...

Photo was taken with 135mm f/4 lens. Great lens if I may say so. I also have a SMC Pentax 55mm f/4 (which is actually a wide angle lens for medium format).

I used to own a bunch of other film cameras (FUJI GA645, GSW690III, GW690, Nikon F100) but have sold all of them for various reasons.

What most people don't know is that you can buy a film camera, used it for a year or two and then sell it for a small profit!

Now, this Pentax 67 I picked up, I love it, shooting with the waist level finder is amazing. When looking through it everything has a 3D pop to it.

Here's another with the 135mm lens.

I tried to attach the photo but it says file is too large! LOL. Try clicking on it to see the larger size.

Great lens Hulk
Also wonderful scans. Lots of detail, clarity and of course your exposure is spot on.

Few race photos from September/October.
Motorsport season in Sweden is over. Covid messed up a bit, but not too much.
Camera going to storage until May 2021 :)

Been a super slow year in photography for me. Have not pick up camera for more than 6 months :( , part laziness, part work
My friend just got a new car so figured we tried our hand at car photography. It has been so long, I forgot how to use/work my strobes lol
Finally, we decided to fk it and set up one camera (his) and take turn light painting and then process the raw files separately to see how it turns out. Here is my attempt, a very noob try.
