I need an opinion on a SCSI drive.

Yes, absolutely. I have 2 of the previous (MAS) series and they're great. MAU is about tied with Maxtor's Atlas 15k II for speed king right now (MAU faster in some stuff, Atlas in others).
 
Those drives will blow away anything you've had in the past in your workstation/desktop work. Also, the MAU edges out the 15K II in more single user tasks, while the Atlas pulls ahead in server work. The advantage for either drive is never great though.
 
the picture is SCA but the description is 68pin, i'd make sure they send you the right one.
 
Great choice for a workstation drive. I plan on replacing my 36GB Fujitsu MAP series drive with one of them.

It says right below the picture that it is for display purposes only :)
 
Yeah. cause they're too lazy to take a picture of the 68-pin version of the drive. :) Once I find out if I can afford it, I'm gunna order some.
