I need advice on a new PC

So im looking to build a really fast and reliable computer and ive picked out parts that i like but im not quite sure if they are all compatible with each other or if there are parts i should take into concideration instead of the ones listed. any help is appriciated.

Motherboard - MSI nForce4 neo platinum socket 939 SLI ATX AMD Athlon 64 PCI-E
Processor - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice socket 939
Video Card - ATI Radeon x850XTPE 256mb 256 bit PCI-E
Hard Drive - Western Digital 74GB 10,000 rpm 8mb
Memory - Corsair XMS Black 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-pin DDR400
Case - Thermaltake Tsunami ATX
Power Supply - Thermaltake Silent Purpower ATX 480w 100-240v
Heatsink - Thermaltake Venus 12 80mm

And the i will be running Win XP home SP2

all you components look to compatible, ecept i am am to lazy to see how that hard drive connects, if its sata make sure your mobo has sata ports. i personnely would go with the amd athlon 64 3200+ over the 3000.
