I need a recommendation for an upgrade.

Hello, my system is as follows,
Gigabyte 7n400 pro2
2500+
corsair twinx 3700 (512 kit)
Tyan radeon 9700pro
SB live 5.1


I want to upgrade my ram. My motherboard has 4 dimm slots. Should i just add another stick or is there history of either stability or performance issues when using more then 2 dimm slots on an nforce chipset? If the latter is the case then i'd be in the market for a new twinX kit.

I'm sure you could get someone with a P4 system to buy that RAM off you . If you actually run your FSB around 233 MHz I would still sell your RAM and pick up two of these http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-145-448&depa=1

even thought that ram is good, this is the best ive been able to find, my friend is ordering it because i recomended it to him.....very low timings

i would get some ram with 2-2-2 latencies, and then try to overclock your cpu a little bit.
