I got a weird network problem... Network works.. but i can not find it....

Like I said this problem is a little weird and I havent been abel to trouble shoot it.

Im using Windows Server 2003 on the server and windows XP Professional on the Clients

My problem is this. When I go to setup a Network connection on a computer i do this:
Start
>My Network Places
>>Add A New Network
>>>Next
>>>>Choose another Network Connection
>>>>>Browse
>>>>>>Entire Network
>>>>>>>Microsoft Windows Network
>>>>>>>>(The name of my network)
>>>>>>>>>here is where i clock on the server

the problem is the server is no longer there. I can see all the computers in the etwork except the server.... the weird thing is that all the computers that already have a file on the server can still gain access... I can even type in location on teh address bar and go into the folders I wanted to.. but I can not see the server under network connection...

Any idea?

Is the server running active directory? Workstations properly joined to the domain and logging into it? How is DNS setup? Refer===> http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1660
