by myself... took me a day and a half to figure out why the right channel wasnt putting out any sound..
what was screweing me up was yast, it was reporting that both channels were operating at the same volume... finally saw somebody recommending to run alsamixer in another forum. for some reason that channel was at 0, conflicting with what the yast hardware setup was telling me... wtf.
i think things sound better in linux... btw. mebbe im crazy.
and another thing... the volume control on the desktop apparently only controls the left channel? what would make it do that? i have to use alsamixer and adjust both individually... sort of a pain in the ass, so i have those practically maxed and use the volume control for my speakers. having a desktop control is nice tho..
