Ok guys I finally got my codes and the first one worked and the second code did not, you will get a Error stating, You have already redeemed a coupon for this campaing on your GPU. Key word was GPU, here is what they did. Each Code is tied to a GPU Id number, you have to literally pull one card out that the code is tied too and boot with the other card in. I tried to redeem the code on my friends pc and it wouldn't work since its tied to the GPU. Call me crazy but this is the only way I got the second code to work. Maybe you could disable SLI and switch the primary card over to the other one, Plug in your monitor, then open Geforce Expierience. What a F@#$FEST!!! I spend $1400 and gotta jump thru hoops.

Ya I was almost about to give up but I was switching some fans around in my case and pulled one card and was making a youtube video on comparing it to my 1080 F.E. cards and before I turned off my pc to throw it back in I tried it for shits and giggles.. I was shocked that it worked.

Interesting because I read in another thread here that someone sold a code on eBay and they said it worked because the buyer had a 1070 or higher Nvidia card. If the code is assigned specifically to the card you purchased then how did they get it to work?
Or.... it isn't assigned to that card, just any Nvidia card 1070+ that hasn't had a game code redeemed against it yet.... maybe that's how it works. But your experience with your friend's PC doesn't support this idea unless he did not have a Nvidia 1070+ card installed.

I may have to redeem one in my rig when I get things installed and then one in my daughter's PC which has a gtx 1060. I have gfe installed on her machine using my login credentials. I assume I could unlock the code on that rig and then just use that code on to download it on mine. She is not interested in either ghost recon or for honor.

Yeah. I redeemed two codes (really wish that I sold 2nd one, though; No interest in Windlands). Different cards in different PCs. No problems.

I may just disable the PCIe slot one of my cards is in and see if this works.

How can we even sell the codes anymore though? Isn't it tied to your hardware now? I bought two cards but only kept one and sold the other, so now I have any extra code I can't redeem.

It ties it to the card that it's activated on, when you activate it.
With a new code, you could activate it on any 10x0 card, unless that card already had a code activated on it.

You can thank all the people that were abusing keys - buying, selling, stealing - for uses other than which they were intended. The game bundling promotions were only ever meant to provide a nice freebie and value-add for buying a video card, not to spawn a black market of cheap keys.

Cheap keys have flooded the market each time theres been one of these promotions, which devalues game IPs as far as publishers are concerned, because people then just come to expect the cheap price when they hear a game is part or an nVidia promotion. This hasn't sat well with publishers for obvious reasons, which in turn forced Nvidia's hand to locking things down to just satisfying the spirit and intent of the promotion and no more.

Another case of 'this is why we can't have nice things.'

That's what I figured. Really limits the resale market and just makes things difficult for consumers. I get the reasoning, but it really removes an incentive many of us have become accustomed to. I could not care less about either of these games. Only redeeming them cause it's free. Probably never even play them.

The solution is much simpler (still inconvenient but no hardware meddling): Basically you redeem your first code normally. Then disable SLI, go to device manager and disable the first card. Relog into GFE and redeem the second code. No card swapping or any other weird solutions.

Yes. I have an SLI 1080 Ti FE setup and it worked perfectly. nVidia support chat actually were the ones who told me about it!

I understand this but in the case of those of us who are trying to legitimately use the keys we were given we are being hurt because of those who have abused the system.

I can't use the other code without taking one card out and swapping positions. That is ridiculous. I'm not doing that so I'm basically sool. I paid 1400 plus tax dirt two cards and got one code for each card yet can't use both unless I jump through 12 hoops. Fantastic way to inconvenience the paying customers. I even tried disabling SLI from the nvcp to no avail.

    Not cool.

You buy the card you buy the key and it's your call what to do with it. The idea that this is the sole reason for cheap or black market keys is ludicrous. I still think nvidia just lowered the retail value of their cards. But that doesn't matter when you're the only game in town currentlyn
