I don't think this is an excellent 3dmark score for 8800Ultra

Last month I built up myself a new system, I get scores on the early 13ks with 3dmark06. Friends tell me that I should be getting at least 14k-up to-16k. These are my specs.

I got 13k with xp and a gtx and e6600 at 3.6ghz and the gtx was oc;d and everytime i have benched with vista I get about 800-1200 lower on 05 and 06

When I ran 3dmark06 I'm labeled as lowest with similar PCs, I view the other matches and they do run XP ^.^

Time to install XP, again...

if your really that concerned about benches then yes xp is needed and is still whats being used.

I would not reformat to xp just for a couple numbers lol, your system is running normally with a 3.0 quad and stock ultra. go play some games and do other stuff and if your happy with frames/settings then your all set.

yeah, for some reason 3dmark still shows a fairly large performance difference, especially 05. But most games show little if any difference using current drivers. I think it was firing squad that did a test with a bunch of games last week that showed 5% beign largest peformance difference.

Hey guess what?

3DMark is not a game.

Post threads like this in the video card section, specifically the Nvidia section.

Hey guess what? You're not a mod so STFU.

God I hate douches that think they are mods.

You could have said what you did and NOT been a dickhead.
