I cant figure out whats wrong!

Ok so here it is... my brother bought a new case.... so i took all his parts out from the old one and put it in the new one. Everything was plugged in the right way, i boot up the system and it gets to the bios fine... but as soon as it boots reboots and trys to go into windows... it just like locks up. So, i tried his HD on my back up computer and it got into his windows with no problem. I put a fresh clean HD on the system now and try to reinstall windows... The cd boots up and copies the files, when it gets to the part where it is like " System is setting up windows, it just stays there and does not wanna get any further. What could be the problem? I need help ASAP this computer NEEDS to be up and running asap

You have something either connected wrong, not connected fully, or hardware was damaged in the move. Check the connections and run tests or swap hardware until you find the problem.
 
Heatsink on the processor seated correctly? maybe it got bumped in the move?
