That's really cool. What was this used for originally? CAD sorts of stuff? Or was this what the guy who has a pair of RTX Titans played games on in 1996? (I was 12 at the time and don't remember)

I think they were for 3D design work?
 
Quad SLI anything back then was ultra rare, although this thing is technically Octo-SLI since it has two 3dfx Voodoo2 gpus per card.

I think these were mostly used in military simulators. Far too expensive for mainstream appeal. I have to imagine they require some kind of special driver to function as a normal Direct3D or OpenGL device(s).
