Yah, to some degree, i'm gonna be trying out each 200 SBi individually at first myself, but i got to see the whole brick fired up at one point

That's really cool. What was this used for originally? CAD sorts of stuff? Or was this what the guy who has a pair of RTX Titans played games on in 1996? (I was 12 at the time and don't remember)

Quad SLI anything back then was ultra rare, although this thing is technically Octo-SLI since it has two 3dfx Voodoo2 gpus per card.

I think these were mostly used in military simulators. Far too expensive for mainstream appeal. I have to imagine they require some kind of special driver to function as a normal Direct3D or OpenGL device(s).
