I backed up my iTunes music library, but how can I tell what iTunes version?

Long story short, before a format, I saved my itunes music library (users/my music/iTunes) and now I need to bring it back, but i THINK i need to have the same version of itunes installed first. I have no idea what version I was using before, any ideas how to find out by looking in this folder?

The latest version will be fine. iTunes is forward compatible, but not backwards compatible. Install iTunes but do not open it (make sure to uncheck to box to launch). Drop the iTunes folder back into My Music, then launch iTunes. It will automatically see your old library and open a new library based off the old one.
