Greetings:

I'm playing around with some VMs and I'm using Win8 as the Host and using Hyper-V. I created two virtual switches:

The first switch is called Worldwide access and it's configured to use the external network. The second switch is called Isolated Access and it's configured to use a private virtual switch.

I have two guests that are up and running fine. They are talking to each and working great. The third machine, however, can't talk to any other machine on the switch. They are all configured to use the Private Switch called Isolated access.

I originally thought I had a DHCP problem, as I couldn't get an IP address. I installed netmon and found that the DHCP discover requests weren't getting answered by a DHCP server. I assigned a static address, and it still couldn't communicate with the other machines.

I deleted the machine and recreated it (used the same VHD), and it still cannot talk to the other machines.

Any thoughts?
