HVR-1800 issue

So I've got an HVR-1800 in my HTPC:

HP Elite M9350F
AMD Phenom X4 9850 @ 2.5GHz
GeForce 9800GT 512MB
6GB DDR800
1TB WD Green Power
Hauppauge HVR-1800
LG BD-ROM/DVD-RW
Windows Vista Home Premium x64

The issue is this: I am using an OTA antenna (Terk TV5 if it matters). Media Center sees 6 channels but only tunes two 3 of those. The WinTV software, however, sees 12 channels and tunes to all (12) of them. This is obviously a driver/software issue however I have all of the latest Windows Updates AND the latest drivers from Hauppauge's website. I'm wondering if anybody has a solution to this. I want to use Media Center because I like the idea of a centralized media system.

Google didn't turn up anything specific to my particular hardware/software setup. Any help is appreciated!

By the way, I only paid $400 for the PC.

Do they show up when looking at the signal strength in settings? Do they show up in the guide? If they are on the signal strength settings screen but not in the guide you can follow these instructions to add them manually.

Only 6 of the 12 show up in Media Center. All 6 of those do show up in the guide. Why doesn't Media Center see the 6 other channels it should be? That's where my confusion is.
