It is working. Sign into your HP academy account, click on the HP logo in the top left (sending you to the HP home page), then follow the Tablets links to the touchpad (dont search for it). It will show up as the correct price.

google hp academy, sign up for an account using an edu email. then click on the top left icon (bringing you to the HP home page). Then navigate to tablets (not by searching). Boom. Right pricing.

For those who missed out I suggest getting to their local Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, Wal Mart, and so on in the morning first thing if you want one. All the stores are dropping the price as seen on HP's site. Target already did it and BB in Canada did too.

If you are talking about the HP website you have to use a student account or employee discount account.

To everyone using the HP website: You MUST follow the links provided in the first post of the slickdeals thread or the price wont show up. I did it about 5 or 10 minutes ago and got the 32gb version. What the links are are the result of doing certain clickthroughs on the HP website. They tell you the path in the slickeals thread if you want to try it that way. If you search for it it will NOT give you the discount.

I logged in the website then browed over to the slickedeals site and clicked on the link. Since I was already logged in it showed the reduced price.
