Well, the Whisper 431 might be OK, but you have a LOT of power sucking devices (6800Ultra alone is huge). Hence, I would step up to the Whisper 470 (ATX v 1.3 or 2.0). Moreover, you could move to a PowerStream 520 or other large PS.

I dont think the rated watts matter as much as what it puts out @ 50C. I have a similar setup as you, and at idle, and inc monitor, my UPS tells me theres a 280w draw on it.

For the quality of components you have, you should really buy the best PSU you can. I know PCP&C are expensive, but they are the best and you'll KNOW your Ultra and 3700+ have the best possible advantage to run at their best potential. If you cant stretch that far, the new Antec truepower 480s have a decent 12v, and are nice quality, or look at a higher end Enermax.

how is this not a higher end enermanx exactly? its got active pfc and the rails on the 12's are great. and its 1.3 compatible with seperate 12 rails.

holy bajesu thats WAY out of the price range. tihs one i've posted usually costs about 100 bucks but im trying to get it fer like 50 bucks.
