i recently took off my via chipset drivers off that came with my motherboard and installed the 4.55's. the old drivers were in my add/remove programs and could remove them. these 4.55's are not. i would like to remove the 4.55's and install the new 4.56's, but the 4.55's aren't in my add/remove programs for me to remove. how do i uninstall these? thx!

Well,i didnt remove previous 4in1's, just booted to safe mode and installed 4.56 on top of old ones, worked flawless for me.

thx. i installed the 4.56's over the 4.55's and so far so good.

also, is there a way to tell what drivers u have installed? i don't have a via folder or anything. thx again.

Yes, load regedit and browse to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Via4in1Driver

There is a string with the version # :D
